A look at the top of the standings...
Only the top three teams advance to the playoffs, and I assume that we won't be able to take over first place given the strength of the Earmuffs team. We're in second place right now, but Freshly Killed Chicken can slide into second if they win out. They'll have to beat Base Pairs on the final week for that to happen, which would give us third place if we win out. If Base Pairs wins out, we could end up in a three-way tie for second place. Ties are broken by run differential.
What does it all mean? It means that we hold our destiny in our own hands. If we win each of our final three games and do so by comfortable margins, we can hang onto a playoff spot without any help from Base Pairs or Freshly Killed Chicken.
The playoffs will be held in three rounds by pitting the top 3 teams in our division (SS3) against the top 3 teams in the SS4 division. Our schedule depends on our seed, and we should be prepared to play at any of the following times, on short notice:
Round 1: Thursday 3 August 5:30 pm or Friday 4 August 5:30 pm, depending on our seed
Round 2: Wednesday 9 August 5:30 pm
Final: Thursday 10 August 5:30 pm
Clear your schedules! We'll need to be at full strength for the playoff games.

I have family in town and will be in upstate New York this Wednesday. This is killing me, people.
Anyways, I was dumb and took two of the bats home so that I could bring them to the game that of course I am not going to be at.
Let me know if you want the bats. I'll bring them into the lab (56-422) sometime tomorrow and one of you can hopefully get them.
Thanks.
I'll be there.
Hopefully this takes, this time.
I'll be bringing my bat with new grip I put on it.
